It might be against the law to shoot my blue merle Cardigan in b&w but the snow just made me do it. If you have a dog you know that they have to stick their snouts in the snow - even Charlie who is not over fond of it. The weather outsmarted the weatherman and gave us about 4 inches of snow this morning. Maggie was bred for snow and harsh weather to herd sheep in Cardiganshire, Wales. Her genetics are in perfect working order. She herds little boys and plays in the snow.
Delightful shot! I had to re-read the first sentence a few times as many of the words have 2 meanings and I was well alarmed at your making holes in your woolly!
I had to fav this superb portrait, not just because she shares my name, and not just because my blue heeler owes its colour to her ancestral gene pool, but because it is so truly beautiful.
