This was important to me in so many ways. I've been thinking of doing it for a while. So many folks that I have known no longer have this privilege. I'm 70 years old and maybe I need the reminder to continue to do what comes naturally.
I was talking to a friend of mine from grade school. He is finishing up weeks of radiation and chemo. He hopes to be able to actually eat a meal by Thanksgiving. I take so very much for granted. I think most of us do. So, in this age of contagion and ventilators being scarce again, remember to keep doing what comes naturally.
The most important thing you do….the breath of life etc. Lovely to have the reminder that life is precious! We are all thinking of breathing more now with Covid amongst us, the one thing I was most scared of when I caught it was if I had to go on a ventilator, thankfully not.
Certainly not something that you will forget.
