(Day 159) - Control

Having some low-key fun with the buttons on my video game controller.

I have often wondered why some game controllers use ABXY and not ABCD. Well, after some research, many say that it's because C and D look & sound fairly similar to B. Therefore, using letters that are very different from each other aids a gamer in muscle memory. The diamond layout also makes it easy to reach each button with the thumb. 🎮
Thanks for the interesting answer to this question! Imagine telling your friend to smash the C button and they keep pressing on D 😆
