(Day 221) - Building Blocks of Light

This collage is more for my own reference but thought it would be neat to share with with you all. I've been experimenting with continuous light and here are some results.

The reflector dish gave strong, direct light. This will probably be better for a more dramatic scene. On the other hand, the softbox gave more even lighting (Ordinary, I would also put a reflector to the left to soften the shadow even more).

I've used these concepts inadvertently a ton of times. However, I've never really understood the way light changes until purposely playing with it myself and seeing it with my own eyes. 😄
