The porch this afternoon was very warm, nearly 40c. I have been nattering on to hubbie about blinds, at this time of year they are needed when the sun is strong, so I’m reduced to umbrellas for shade! It’s not ideal but they do the job, the photo is of my antique yellow brolly, it’s nearly 50 years old and still going strong. It was a free gift from a cider company it has sheltered all our family from rain and sun been on outings , and shaded babies and animals alike. It’s one of the silly things that would break my heart if anything happened to it, stupid I know.
