This afternoon at the Clay Bank car park the view as always was magnificent. Roseberry topping is in the distance on the left and the heather is now nearly finished so no bits of purple showing. There was a haze over the hills in the distance but it was a lovely 22C temp, just right for sitting out and enjoying.

A super panorama - fav. I have photos of a simular view from years ago with the valley covered in a layer of fog, and it gradually receeding, as if the tide was going out.
