Dibble bridge across the Whyett beck by craftymeg

Dibble bridge across the Whyett beck

Another one of the bridges you find across the North York Moors, this time it is Dibble bridge across Whyett beck that leads into the river Esk. A little further on is Dibble farm, which is Castleton, another beautiful spot even in winter.

A lovely shot of this attractive old bridge and it's surroundings - fav! One of the places we like to visit at the end of our walks is quite close to here - the bench at the top of Birkfield Bank, with its views over Eskdale and Westerdale, and then just a short walk to the top of Castleton to catch the Moorsbus home.
