I want to express my sincere appreciation to all those who have served and who are serving our Country. This is my Grandfather who served in WW1. They lived in the house where I now live, and the center photo was taken of him approximately a year before his death, February 16, 1985, on the first year birthday of our Son.
What a beautiful presentation of your Grandfather's WW1 service record. He lived to a great age.
With regard to the Old Windmill in Brisbane, it was given a facelift last year & the council is considering if it is safe enough to allow people to climb it.
I have been inside many years ago before they closed it.
Beautiful collage and tribute... I know coming from a military family brings a long a certain something... I don't even know how to describe it. I'm a Brat myself... and my Dad and Grandfather were both brats and in service.
About your question... yes. When I took that it was in the 30's... today will top at 44, then tomorrow a dusting in the valley (city), but the mountains will get more. To me, it's cold.
