My Mother didn't raise a fool. Now I keep my marbles in a jar. I am not about to lose them again. Just another item I have setting on my shelf at work. The various items I have setting around tend to be good conversation pieces, besides adding a bit of color to an otherwise boring office.
I used to love my marbles and they were all different. I don't know where they may be now, long gone I am afraid. So glad you take good care of yours!!
Great Shot...I guess like-minds cross paths occasionally...really there aren't that many ideas around anymore...it IS getting closer to the end of the year...but honest I didn't see your photo until after I posted mine...and I love all the colors of your marbles...
Very nice, Rick! I love marbles. I've gotten mine out a few times to use for my photo but one hasn't made it on here yet. I used to love playing when I was young and then we taught my son how to play when he was little. Thanks for the memories!
awesome shot .... U know i always loved playing marbles but hated lossing my favorite ones when i lost lol . I love how the still keep coming back to the play ground. How cool that u have kept them. Great for the theme
Glad to know you have all your marbles, Rick! Haha. It makes a colorful decoration. I keep a jar on my kitchen counter only mine are all the same color...various shades of blue opalescent.
I love the look of a jar of colored marbles...we've got all of Ken's in a jar on a shelf, as well. Weren't those childhood days happier and simpler? A nice way to hold the memory...

Marbles it takes me back to when I used to collect them, some have such lovely colours and patterns , but unfortunately I have lost my marbles. great shot
Love it! & I need to get a jar apparently so I can quit picking up my little girls marbles everywhere! (why I never thought to use a jar is beyond me!)
