Post your favorite photo of your own project from this past week to share with those that may not otherwise see it. Lets also put WHY or WHAT about it you like.
There were some really great photographs last week. It is fun to see what you like of your posts as it is not always what everyone else chooses.
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
Here is mine. I was in a slump, was having camera issues and feeling all around funky and down this week. I went for a photo walk, took this shot and really felt better. I love the reminder that beauty is everywhere when you open your eyes to it. This may be one of my faves of mine from the year which is so weird considering the subject.
This week, it's not a picture that I took but is my favorite for this week because we are all together for another year. We never know how many years we will be enjoying this tradtion so every year is that much more meaningful. Merry Christmas, everyone!
This was mine because I like how the focus is on the blur and not the actual focused part and ended up being completely different from what I had originally intended to shoot.

This is my favorite of this week. The weather has been grey, rainy and foggy all week, so i had to take a lot of indoor pictures (and because i was sick as well) This shot was taken when the sun tried to get through the fog and i love the effect it gives! The shot is SOOC
This street candid in Midtown Manhattan is my favorite. Street photography has intimidated me in the past, but I gathered up my courage this time and am pleased with the result.

This definitely has to be my fave, my gorgeous girl has had her fifteen minutes on the PP and she's ecstatic (trying to stop it from going to her head :P) Taken on my bed, she posed SO well haha. And she loves the hat! (thanks Marks and Spencers for putting those hats on bottles of juice!)
I knew the month of December was going to be crazy so I decided to use a little prop--a little stuffed Elf I named Ella. Incorporating her into my shots has been such a learning experience for me. This has to be my favorite shot of her.
I liked three photos this week. I liked this one the best because my eyes travel through the photo when I look at it. This is something I have been working on.
This was my favorite from this week. My Get challenged partner assigned me "WATER or RAIN" As I live in SoCal, I've been playing with water. After HUNDREDS of different shots, with different settings, at different places, I got this and I LOVE it! Love the clarity and focus of the water and the bokeh.
Definitely this one as I like the way the map looks like it goes on forever but also because it is a map of Yorkshire, where I was born and where I'm heading to tomorrow to celebrate Christmas.
I had a hard time picking this week, but I'll go with this one. I tried something new and I liked how it turned out. Also, because I have reached a place in this journey where I am taking the time to set up a shot - consciously thinking about what I want it to look like and working to have it come out. Some days it works, and some days not. But it it all such an incredible learning experience, and the journey is so much fun.
I have to go with this one... I've been wanting a decent shot of these barns from this angle all year but its in a location that, due to traffic, is so hard to get and there is nowhere close to it to pull off the road (there are no shoulders to the road, just ditches). Just my luck we got hit with a horrible storm and so no one was on the road but me (because its the road I take to work). It worked out in my favor because not only did I get the barns, I got SNOW!
I'm super happy with this little snowman. I think the background colour and clouds work well and it made top 3 for the week so I'm really happy about that too. Thanks to all who faved him.
I like this one for sentimental reasons. My family took an afternoon off and decorated the tree together. Still needs more lights though... :) (The pet gate is to keep the 4 dogs and 10 cats from playing up and down the tree. So far, so good.)
it was a toss up between this one and the "photog at work" shot i posted on monday... using this one because i actually took it this week... it was kind of a "suh-weet" catch ;p
This would have to be my fav from my project, i finally got a rainbow while washing the car, took a whie to actually hold the hose and take the photo so everything was right...
I like this one because... it portrays what Christmas is really about, has kiddos telling us that, has a real baby Jesus, and that precious Mary is one of my great-nieces... :)
It's not every day you see Jupiter so up close and personal that you actually see that it's surrounded by a rainbow when shot with nothing but a zoom lens.

It wouldn't stop raining, five out of six days, and I was running out of ideas so was very happy when I took this picture.
