Please use this opportunity to look back over the month, and share one or two of your favourite images that you posted in May. Be sure to tell us why you love it too!
I was very happy with many of my May shots, but I think this silly Cardinal takes the cake. He was having *such* a good time in the bath!

As an aficionado of street photography, I would choose that one for May. It has several elements I appreciate: serendipity, genuineness, color harmony, and a touch of strangeness with the reflection and the incongruity of an adult carrying a red toy.
It was a difficult choice this month because May is the month of the year when my garden offers the most exciting opportunities for photo subjects for me and my May calendar is full of lots of colourful images. Perversely I chose the one and only B&W from the month, this rabbit almost hidden in the tall grass over by the pond.
Maybe because it was just a change from everything else this month, or maybe because I was happy to be able to get the focus on his eye, even though working through those blades of grass in the way.
I took this after the graduation celebration from Liberty University. He insisted we climb the nearby mountain and the thing that makes this so special is during the sunset hours he was singing praises of worship to God. It was so very special and something I will always cherish.
This picture of the goslings is one of my favourite images from May. I took many pictures, but this particular one has something magic about it.

The picture of the robin is also one of my favourites from May. Perfectly posing for me as I was in a nature reserve close to home. I was feeding the birds, and many blue ad great tits came to eat. Suddenly the little robin appeared just in front of me. I couldn't be happier.
I am always amazed at how a picture you don't like in its original form can be transformed quite easily into something special. I hate this yellow iris, but in this guise I think they are wonderful.
