My choice for October is this foggy morning on the St. Lawrence River
It was a wonderful getaway, and sipping coffee in the early morning quiet while watching the light play on the water is one of my absolute favourite things.
I am behind on my uploads so I could be forgetting something, but I think this is my fave October shot. I love the Northern Lights and although I'd seen them a couple of times before, I hadn't seen them from home. Of course, when it did happen it was at a time when I couldn't use my actual camera, so I was just really glad my phone was able to capture it!
My choice for this month is this little sparrow sitting on a fence post at the community garden. I love the way this little bird, looking so perky, stands out against the soft background and because I was using a Canon lens which wouldn't auto focus on my Sony camera and it felt like an accomplishment to get this active little bird in focus.
I never tire of trying to get a good picture of the statue in the flooded crypt. Maybe next time?
@zilli A vibrant harbour scene, and beautiful art.
@princessjessica Such a special treat! Beautifully captured.
@lsquared Love the colour combo in the first one, and the light in the second.
@yorkshirekiwi A stunning capture.
