Okay, I was on a trip to the inlaws over the weekend, and my husband doesn't like to stop when he is driving just so I can get a photo op. I took two shots from a fast moving vehicle (well I took a lot more, but they were crap) and thought they turned out quite well for not being able to compose anything. What are your best shots from a moving vehicle?
These 3 are from a Glacier National Park trip from a few years ago. We went with a tour company and these are taken through a side window in a 12 passenger van.
This is a shop window display in the Louis Vuitton Store on the Champs Elysees in Paris. The water streaks / droplets you can see are because I took the photo from a bus as we were driving past and the rain was on the bus window.
I was with friends driving on the 405 Freeway on our way to dinner and this crazy tricked out car drove next to us! I grabbed my trusty point and shot and snapped this shot! What a happy accident! You should have seen the driver--full of tattoos and piercings, but I just got the car!
I have tons of "drive-by shootings" but will "only" show four here... and in a small size so as not to take up too much space on the thread. :)
I took this one one-handed from the back of the motorcycle with my left hand (translate=useless hand!) while on the freeway at about 65 mph...
Sunset Over My Shoulder... Literally! Over my shoulder on the motorcycle... one-handed... on the freeway at about 65 - 70 mph!
Whenever we head south on the motorcycle we love to take the Spiral Highway into Lewiston. This photo gives you a bit of an idea what it's like... all of the road segments with lines in this pic (best viewed magnified) are part of the road we take. Fun, fun, fun on a motorcycle, but I hate it in a car.
And finally one from the car... It's Still Winter... and, while I am very ready for it to be gone, I have to admit that I have enjoyed getting some beautiful winter scenery shots! I really liked the contrast of the snow and the soil on this shot...
Holy Moley these shots are amazing - so many of them are better focused than I manage with a sturdy table!
Here's one (which actually my daughter took) on the A1 heading north in November...
Here is another barn I caught through our car window.
& this one...
and
taken with Iphone whilst passing stationery car at traffic lights..fisheye app used .....
Banking right in seat 14F:

And this with my new one 3 months later.

Driving into Bancroft Ontario, Thanksgiving weekend
This was taken on Thanksgiving weekend on Baptiste Lake Rd, heading home from the cottage
Objects in mirror are closer than they appear .....
A blaze of orange... typical autumn beauty, this would have been prettier if it had blurred while driving past
CN Tower, taken from the Gardiner Expressway
View of The Rogers Centre, taken from the Gardiner Expressway
Crossing the Millau Viadict in the Auvergne last summer
Building in Maastricht.
but my favourite is probably this one
Took this from the train on the day home for the christmas holidays
and this was taken in november in palawan, philippines, while in a motorboat going at 70 kmph:
But did a few before it. This one's rather over processed, but I couldn't get the colors of the rainbow to show up without over-doing everything else.
I just found two more from airplanes:
Flying towards Heathrow:
Flying towards Frankfurt airport:
Driving on Saskatchewan highways
This is my ONLY shot from a moving vehicle... snapped this guy hitching a ride on my way home from work... taken with my phone.
