January Word List Request

December 22nd, 2016
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

I am so looking forward to administrating (and participating) in the monthly word list. My plan is to send out word requests around the 20th or 22nd of each month, give everyone a week to send in their ideas like Debra did, and have the list up and running a couple of days ahead of the end of the month.

Yes, I have been neglecting 365 for the past couple of months due to a short job contract which has just ended. Will become a regular participant again in the New Year.

So, without further ado, I am sending out word requests. Do not worry if you see a word that you were considering submitting already submitted by someone else. Multiple submissions of the same word lets me know that word is very popular and should be included.

Also, anyone not included in this list and would like to participate is certainly welcome to add their word requests. I will make sure you get a notification next month.

By the way, I also plan on expanding this challenge by posting a Best of each month calendar, starting with a Best of January so keep those photos coming and you may be featured on the calendar page.

Hi Wendy and thank you for taking this on...
Just little trick for you, when I used to do this I would post the list of names as a comment under you main post and the delete the comment a minute later. That way we all get the message but the list of user names is not visible to all.

January 12th, 2017
@farmreporter Please tell me where to find the January word list. I would like to start on this challenge. Thanks, Wendy.
January 12th, 2017
@henrir

I am so glad that you are interested in the monthly word list.
I am brand new to doing it and may have messed up. You can find the words here and I hope that you can just copy the top list if required. http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/29049/january-word-list#comment-802395

If that does not work, here is where I imported the list from. Again – really must find out how to do it properly for next month! http://365project.org/farmreporter/altered-states/2017-01-01

If all else fails – copy and paste onto a word document. Please be patient with me – I am a work in progress!
January 12th, 2017
@farmreporter Thanks, Wendy. I got them.
January 18th, 2017
Wendy.... I haven't been around for a long time. Been kept busy with being caregiver to my husband. He's had another stroke on Dec. 13. He should be released by the home nursing staff tomorrow. I do plan to start taking photos. If anything comes up with my husband I will let you know. Is it too late to take something for Jan? If so, I will start in Feb. for the word of the month. I really missed this group.
January 18th, 2017
@lindamp5
Oh, Linda, I am so sorry to hear about your husband. Of course, family takes precedence over all else I hope he makes a steady recovery - strokes can be tough!
The beauty of the monthly words is that you can do one, or some, or all the words in any order you please and post them on any day you please so please feel free to do any words you can!
I will be asking for February words soon so keep in touch, and I am sure February will be better. In the meantime, I am looking forward to seeing your January words!
