This is my 11 month old grandson, wearing a jersey I had just finished knitting and sewing up. I am not very good at knitting - mainly because I struggle to get a project finished! This is a bit embarrassing, but I started this jersey when my nephew was born, supposed for him! He is now 20 years old! Next I will finish a cardigan I started for my niece ...

This is my son's little boy - and the young lad the jersey was originally meant for is my son's cousin, so a first cousin once removed! It does get complicated š
Rocky is doing so well now - certainly compared with earlier. It is amazing what those wonderful doctors and nurses in NICU can do! However, even with all their expertise, they were amazed that he survived, he was in critical condition for weeks. It is incredible to see him now, but he will still be on oxygen for quite some time, and he will have issues. My daughter is very happy to now be a mother! - we honestly never expected it to be possible.
