For the get pushed challenge this week, I was challenged by Sue @suez1e to capture water at a high shutter speed. We were staying at Lake Pukaki when the polar blast came through. The wind was really getting up and the normally calm lake had waves splashing against the rocks. The shutter speed of 1/500 of a section froze the water action.
Well done and perfect timing. A really great shot that certainly meet my challenge to you. I love the colours in the water and because I have been there I know the lake can be those colours
@suez1e Thank you Sue. You are so right. The lake is an amazing colour, and it was especially on the day I took that photo because the sun being low was still shining on the water, while the clouds and sky were getting dark. - Very dramatic.
