These beautiful daffodils that Colin splashed out for me at £1 a bunch from M&S have turned out to be double petalled. They smell lovely and started opening within a day of being in the warmth of our dining room.
It was also my sister Hester's birthday today (March is the month for birthdays) and I caught up with her on the phone as she is all the way up in North Yorkshire. I'm glad she liked my presents and especially appreciated the flamingo wrapping paper and card!
