What a lovely day. My God-daughter Izzy had asked if I could come to her school leaving barbecue at the Linden Lodge School. She is now sixteen years old and it is time for her to head to new a residential school that specialises in her range of medical problems including severe epilepsy. Linden Lodge has been an amazing school and I never cease to be amazed at the dedication, kindness and care that all the staff and assistants have for the pupils.
As well as the barbecue and presentation to the pupils moving on, the afternoon was also to celebrate the design and opening of the 'Friends Forever Garden' designed by Paddy (Izzy's Dad and my best friend Sarah's husband).
This is Sarah and Izzy on the trampoline although I was not that impressed by Sarah's efforts!… I love them both.
