6th July 2019

Despite my day of walking yesterday at Hampton Court Flower Festival, we still left at the same time to get to Bushy Park for the Park tun at 900am. It was scorchingly hot and today as it was the day that Octogenarians are being celebrated, there was a whole group of runners aged 80 and over - respect! I managed the entire 5kms with only a few stops. Time not good but over half a minute better than last week.

I noticed that the ‘Bowl and Roll’, a new cafe has finally opened in the High Street as celebrated by this impressive balloon arch - I’m not sure thee car is anything to do with it though. After iced coffee and a shower I headed to the Post Office to post of Colin’s motorcycle jacket to the chap in Crawley as I felt bad that he had already paid the money. There has to be degree of trust in these things and I texted him details of postage and a photo of the wrapped parcel!
