2nd February 2021

Day 321 since the start of the 1st lock down.

I started the big task of roller painting the cupboard doors today. The Deluxe paint I had made u last week covers really nicely so hopefully despite the sark blue it is covering, I can get away with just two coats.

The big news of the day is that Captain Sir Tom Moore has passed away in hospital aged 100 years old. Last year he raised over 33 million pounds by donations people made for him walking 100 laps of his garden. In the uncertainty of the first lock down he was a beacon of light and hope. He became a celebrity in his hundredth year, appeared on the front cover of GQ magazine. was the oldest person to have a Top 10 Number 1 and was knighted by the Queen at Windsor Castle. RIP Sir Captain Tom Moore.

108,013 PHE deaths in the U.K. (1,449 deaths today)
