1 year, 299 since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
After the stress of yesterday and not much achieved as I had been so worried about Mum and Ian, I caught up with some preparation for our trip next Thursday. I booked some additionally hire car insurance to avoid us getting fleeced at the airport and also booked out lateral flow tests which Portugal require for entry - typical most other countries do not need them now. I was recommend to a place in New Malden and they are £6 cheaper than the last ones we had to Terminal 4 last September and easier to get as well. All booked in for Tuesday afternoon so fingers crossed they come back negative or we are not going anywhere!
In the afternoon I cooked a full roast dinner with a joint of beef that I had got reduced from Marks and Spencer some time ago. I made roasted parsnips and carrots, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, peas with gravy. Mango and raspberries for dessert. Very nice.
