2 years and 69 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
Oh dear, that seemed to be very virulent hay fever yesterday has developed into a summer cold. I’m feel quite rubbish and as a safety measure I did a LFT a the first one for a while but luckily it was negative.
After the angst of yesterday I was able to check in for tomorrows flights and just as well that I did immediately at 12.10 as we had been allocated the worse seats in the plane - right at the back by the toilets! It is clearly a very busy flight as there were just a few spare aisle seats and then I spotted a row of three in row 8 which I quickly swapped us to.
In the afternoon we watched some of the televised Platinum Jubilee pageant and took it fairly gently for the rest of the afternoon after I’d done my ironing and finished packing as much as I could before tomorrow.
