24th November 2022

In the morning it was a lovely day so I delivered another batch of ten calendars to the Landmark Centre as they have sold the previous five supplied and also greeting cards and montage prints. I timed it perfectly to catch the R68 bus in just a couple of minutes after the delivery into Richmond to deliver more Christmas cards to the museum and also to have a quick check on card stocks in Waterstones - all fine. I got the bus back in under an hour so I was only charged one fare - result!

Later in the afternoon rain set in despite me waiting for it to go off, eventually I had to set out and deliver greeting card orders and pick up a signed book I had ordered for Karen for Christmas. It was very wet.

It was also the ‘Teddington Lights up Festival’ although this year it is just called festival as there are very few lights on the trees due to the cost of electricity. The roads were closed and it is always enjoyable to walk up the middle of the High Street. Nowhere near as meany people as usual and sadly a large number of food stalls totally unrelated to businesses in Teddington. With mulled wine at £7 a cup I wasn’t partaking!
