I had a meeting first thing in Ham at Parades End bookshop. I was given a contact name by a neighbour and friend in the Crescent. She is friends with someone who works at the bookshop and who had spotted my cards on display at the Waterstones in Richmond. I decided to walk there over the Teddington footbridge as it is actually quite a drive to get to Ham as it’s not the other side of the river so this has to be crossed by car which would involve driving all the way into Kingston and then back again. It took me less than the predicted half an hour of walking. Sam is very nice and we spent a pleasant hour going through cards and more importantly. Getting her feedback on potential new card designs. She placed an order and I will be delivering on an invoice basis as opposed to sale or return (SOR) which is far more work.

I walked back - it wasn’t nearly so warm today. The footbridge is undergoing renovation at the moment and they have actually created a second suspended footbridge which was strange walking over.
