30th June 2024

After our dinner party last night, there was a lot of washing up! Colin headed over to Chris’s house quite early on as he was returning the favour by helping Chris to put a new roof on his garage. I eventually finished the washing up but then had to get my camera gear up together (and the high-vis jacket!) ready for the photoshoot at the Teddington Village Fair in Udney Hall gardens.

I got there for the very start so I could get some photos of the Teddington Society team before they got too busy. I’ve been to quite a few and after the cancellation of two during the Covid lockdowns in 2020-2021, last years was rather quiet. What a difference this year, the afternoon was a big success with a range of stalls and stands for local charities and special interests. I bought Colin two homemade marmalades and two delicious ginger biscuits which went towards my lunch for the day.

It was a great afternoon but it’s hard work photographing an event like that so I headed back home for an hour or so before returning to photograph the Mayor and prize giving. I took over 380 photos and have edited song to just over 80.
