12th December 2013

After all the excitement of yesterdays foggy non existent sunrise of stags and herons, I thought I'd pop over at the end of the day. I thought it would be a spectacular sunset but actually in the end it was quite cloudy.

I still quite like this though as I love the shape of the oak trees which you can see clearly now the leaves have fallen. There are a few people walking dogs and a low line of mist which never totally lifted today. (Best viewed large if you have time to see the mist)
Stunning image! Fav!

Fav for me too Emma. It's a very atmospheric shot, as beautiful in its way as a spectacularly colourful sunset would have been. I love bare trees and these are especially lovely--as is the mist when one views this large, which is well worth doing!

The streaks in the sky behind the large oak on the right are particularly beautiful
