Last night fog was forecast so I thought I'd make a second attempt to get into Bushy Park at dawn. It was open today although the fog was so thick it never really lifted all day. I have to say it was spectacular wandering around the park seeing deer looming out of the wall of whiteness.
I had a job choosing one for today as I had different sorts of images - herons, swans and deer but this fully grown stag who had clearly come out on top during this years rut was selected. I was using my 70-200mm f/2.8 but I was actually at the end of the branch so only about 8 feet away!!
If you have a moment, here's a selection of images from the morning.
** Thank you all for getting me onto the PP and I'm 'Trending', not sure if that's good but I'm pleased!! ** (Will reply to posts later later - thank you again)
This is a real stunner Emma, I would give it many favs if I could! Congrats on your courage by the way. This guy is someone you definitely wouldn't find in High Park!
Fabulous shot Emma, I completely missed the fog yesterday, so annoying, but I set my alarm super early this morning as they forecast fog again and i thought I'd head to Richmond, but when I was dragged from my slumber and peeked out the window there was no fog to be seen so I went back to sleep!!! It really is a great shot.
This is beautiful, as are the ones in your flickr folder. Well done for getting yourself down there at dawn - I keep intending to but never quite making it! Fav
