This fern is in the middle of its unfurling. Taken at the Connecticut College Arboretum, a large tract of land which is home to many native plants and shrubs.
What a gentle photo - how nice that Connecticut College has an Arboretum - I went to Chatham College (now University) and they're also quite strong in that area - and have a lovely campus in Pittsburgh. Love the fronds and your titling!
