After being nagged for over two weeks, by my eldest Oliver who is 5, to get some fish, we came to a compromise. I got one of the little fish lamps that bubble and have 6 fish looking like they swimming up and down in it. You can change the colour of the lamp and it looks generally relaxing. There were several advantages to this over getting real fish. First; you don’t have to remember to feed them; second, you don’t have to clean them out; and third, once the children have enjoyed them and had their fad you don’t have to worry about that to do with them. You just switch it off!
Here is the result of trying to get a picture of my little girl Evelyns favourite fish (she’s nearly 14 months)

Nice story. I want to get an actual fishtank for myself but my wife still does not want one but has offered on more than one occasion to buy me one of these :)
