At Doncaster railway station a couple of days ago, changing trains, I spotted this locomotive arriving on a London to York service. It has become quite fashionable to decorate trains with vinyl illustrations, and East Coast have recently had this decoration applied in conjunction with the launch of the Skyfall DVD. It is proving extremely popular too, with quite a few others at the station taking shots of it.
Wow I like the 007 Skyfall advertising on the train. so cool.
when back to your collage of June 2012 and was surprised that a comment of mine was on it. there you see how times flies, didn't realize I followed you already then.
I have never seen advertising on trains other than the the names 'Aviva or Great Western' here . Great pic and title and what a way to advertise, if it works on buses why not a train :-)
Thank you Ross - this was only decorated about a month ago, and all the coaches were done too. There are quite a few local trains with pictures of tourist attractions across northern England displayed on them that are operated by Northern Rail in this area too.
