I have been visiting my parents again and took this shot of what is supposed to be the oldest building in Woodhouse. When I was younger it was called The Cross Daggers and the upstairs room was the scene of many a celebration.
The date 1658 is above the door and legend says Oliver Cromwell and his supporters visited there.
@dolphin There are some nice cottages made of the stone that I will have to try and capture. There were too many strange shadows the other day. katharine
@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry. I am trying to take photos of Woodhouse, which has some very nice buildings that I didn't appreciate when I was younger. Katharine
@witchyjacq This is one of my favourites. Its the first time I've managed to find the square reasonably empty so I can take a photo of the building. katharine
Thanks for the fav. Katherine. You make my day
