A bit of fun today. I spotted these Daleks and a Cyberman on the roof of this convenience shop some time ago, but it wasn't until yesterday that an opportunity came to get a shot.
Those of you familiar with the TV SciFi series Dr Who will recognise these monsters as some of his greatest foes, although I don't know what they were doing on the roof of this shop at a petrol station on Hull Road.
For those of you not Familiar with Dr Who, he is a traveller in time and space fighting evil in the galaxy, who every few years changes his body (regenerates). The series recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of its first broadcast - and I remember as a youngster being enthralled by the original series in 1963!
I hope this brings back a few memories for some of you.
haha, this is cool! I've heard a lot about Dr. Who, but never seen any of them yet... but I'm presently watching the BBC Sherlock, which is by the same producer... and it's so awesome that my sisters, brothers and I are now quite eager to see Dr. Who... (and we all love sci-fi and fantasy, so I really think we'll have to give it a try!
