Two of the 'Ghosts in the Gardens' sculptures in the Museum Gardens, York, are of animals. Here a cat is on the roof of the former bowls pavillion. Once a very popular sport, Bowls in recent years seems to have gone into decline, and several bowling greens in York have vanished.
In 2016 the old pavillion was refurbished to be used as a cafe, although as far as I recall it has never been opened as one.
The second animal to feature amongst the sculptures is a squirrel perched on the branch of a tree, and that is the one that was quite hard to find.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
I hope that you have enjoyed this brief series of shots from the 'Ghosts in the Gardens'. Sadly, I havent had a foggy day to see what results I could get from those conditions, though there are a few days left of the display.
I think this would make a rather good addition to the cat trail, left just where it is now and taking trail followers on a walk through the Museum Gardens. I have to confess that I still haven't done the full cat trail. Many things planned for this year didn't happen, but there is always next year!
This is done very well and you captured it perfectly

Thank you Vesna. It isn't too big, but zooming in for the shot made it look bigger.
