This shot was taken late yesterday afternoon, after a day of heavy rain and rain showers. The sun finally broke through the cloud just as it was setting. This shot was from our lounge, with rain still falling and a brief glimpse of the setting sun.

We saw an end to the rain last night, only for it to be replaced by strong winds. The heavy rain of the last few days means that the River Ouse overflowing its banks. So far only riverside paths seem to be effected. Rain is due to return tonight, but hopefully that won't make the flooding worse.
