As some of you will remember, I have quite a weakness for roses, and we have quite a few rose bushes in our garden.
Sadly there seems to be quite a competition between the rose bushes and the weather at the moment, with a new rose bud opening, and another burst of rainfall battering it.
So, in a gap between rain showers, I took this shot of our only white rose a couple of days ago. I'm not sure what variety this rose is, since we inherited it when we bought our house, but I strongly suspect it is a variety called 'Iceberg'.
I adore roses too. Had some come out last week only to be battered to bits by heavy rain. New ones out today. I have a pure white called William and Catherine. Hope yours survive this crazy weather!
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
It is a shame that some of the rose flowers have been a bit battered, but at least there will be more flowers to come from them for the rest of the summer.
