I know it is doubtless a mistake to assign human thoughts and emotions to animals or birds but seeing the look in this mother's eye, and the position of that right claw, I can't help imagining that she is thinking, "If you don't stop squawking at me for ten seconds, I will tear your beak off."
But then maybe I am just projecting ...
