Still going through my pictures from New Orleans. The old pharmacy that we went to visit encompassed a whole building. When it was a working pharmacy the ground floor was where the actual pharmacy was and the upper floors were the residence for the pharmacist and his family. Being a family home, the building also included a quiet courtyard with a fountain, as did many New Orleans homes in those days.
