I can already see the buds on the magnolia tree. The red maple trees are behind it, in the background.

Nice on black.

A beautiful abstract :)

Well composed and lovely colour. Magnolias are a bit odd showing their buds even before winter.

@ingajohansson It is a saucer Magnolia. I discovered that when a leaf drops, it leaves a bud in its place. They bloom in February and March, depending on the weather. The color appeared and leaves dropped a bit later this year too.

Very artistic! No buds on the trees here- you're in a much warmer place than we are. I like the way you've processed this- much like Spring which is such a ways off!

So well done -- great lines in the branches and wonderful framing and tones.

@olivetreeann Thank you Ann. I actually didn’t do much processing but I did add a soft focus. The Red maples are so pretty and we are still in Fall but slowly the leaves are falling, especially on a windy day! First winter, then spring and all those tulip magnolias. :)
