Those who teach
us the most
about humanity
aren't always humans.

What can we do to stop living in fear? Turn the news down. Take a seat, a deep breath and treat yourself to a healthy dose of unconditional furry cat or dog love.
Studies show that having an animal elevates your mood, lowers blood pressure and anxiety levels, improves your sleep and provides comfort & companionship. Animals provide a multitude of therapeutic benefits. They are just good for us. Nice on Black.
Daylight saving time today. It is 4am and I haven't gone to bed yet. I am getting ready to fly to Florida on Tuesday.
@louannwarren She does, LouAnn. She sleeps at my feet and doesn’t go to bed until I do. I am more nocturnal than she is. I will miss her and Sophie terribly! @joysabin I don’t normally sleep on a plane, even if I am up all night. It will be a long travel day though. @kgolab Many thanks! I kept debating about going but I will love it once I arrive...the beach for two weeks! @ludwigsdiana Thank you, Diana! I don’t care for plane travel & the hassles but love the destination...the beach! @ingajohansson I will miss my furry girls terribly but know that my husband will take good care of them. :) @seattlite Thanks, Gloria! Be safe in Seattle! @taffy Many thanks, Taffy! I will miss my furry girls but nice to know they will be waiting for me when I return. :) @mittens Thank you, Marilyn. Her fur is the longest in March...but oh so soft and clean! :)
Oh wow, Cathy, I'm so with you about "Calm Down Already!" We do what we can... And as for the calming properties of petting a cat (of which I'm currently housing 4!) I was thinking just that as I lay on the couch the other day with Tigger lying on me. He was happy...I was happy...and look now...I'm feeling so much better! It works! As for the beach...just go and have a lovely time! We live in a country with easy access to emerg centers if necessary and all other care if needed further. Now, don't give it a second thought!
