November is National Native American Heritage Month. I took this shot last month at a celebration of Indigenous People's Day at the Salem, Oregon State Capitol, but played with it using my limited but growing photoshop skills.
..blur background, change of contrast, adding some light streaks, selective color. And so now I ask myself, when is it a post-processed image versus "digital art"? How much change is still ok for the original? hmmm.

But your changes have given us the essence of the image without the distractions - so surely it is still true to the original? He does look very impressive as you have shown him. :)

It all depends on the intention. You didn't present the document, just your vision. And that's OK!

@robz Thanks for the input. I like the way you describe just getting rid of distractions to get to the image. Now that I am doing more processing (and saving some of those 'bleh' shots) I'm also giving more thought to this.
