Dandelion Falls

I think these are dandelions...thus the name I give this...nothing official about it.

My self-challenge to shoot wide-angle continues. No cropping here, as I realized when I did crop and then checked the exif details, the mm reading had changed from 21 to 35 ... so no cropping. I did add shadows in post, but other than that, this is pretty much straight from camera. . Definitely a learning experience...Not the most interesting of shots, but it will do for today..
A great wide angle shot - and it does show great silky waters.

The angles are very interesting.. Diagonals are very dynamic and i don't think there's a non-diagonal line in this lovely shot.. Absolutely love that you've chosen dandelions as your focal point.. they are such a pretty colour and shape but most folk overlook them, in favour of more exotic blooms.. love the collection of different textures too, from the silky water to the concrete edging..

Love this!! The yellow pop of the dandelions and the silky smooth river looks so cool. Excellent wide-angle composition.

@jorlam Thank you for noticing so much; as I am working on the technical part of working with the wide-angle I am trying to incorporate effective compositional elements.

@cjphoto Thank you for the enthusiasm. .. Peterson also talks about elements of "storytelling" in landscapes...foreground interest about 2' from lens, then middle ground and background. So I tried to incorporate some of those elements too....
