Was in Preston today with daughter & granddaughter, school was out on strike so we had a potter around the shops & our lunch out. On my way back to the car I saw this mum & daughter having their photo taken . They were very excited as they had won a holiday. Someone was holding the back drop up so that it looked like they were at the beach already!
Nice! I had day off school too but no strike. Went to Inverness to be with mum and dad at hosp appointment for mum. It was a good day in every way...........even managed some sale shopping but didn't think of my camera till I was on the train!

Your strike was on our news here! So, are your children normally still in school this late in the year? We've been out since early June and go back August 17th! I really miss my kids already though!!!
