The Treasure Hunters !! by happypat

The Treasure Hunters !!

Useless ones at that!! We were hopeless & the clues were so hard. It was aright while we were in the fields but as soon as we got into Cartmel itself there was just too much distraction a & we completely lost track of which clue we were up to. Any way it was a very enjoyable evening with great scenery, friends & tasty hotpot supper to finish. I couldn't choose which picture to put up but in the end chose this because it's more interesting than a scenery shot. I took loads of really pretty houses, Cartmel Priory & the Race Course itself but wanted to give a flavour of the evening. The highlighted bit is our little group & the ones in the know will be able to pick Harry out !! Many apologies for my neglect of commenting yesterday but will catch up today !! Thank you too for all your feed back & lovely comments over the last weeks ...I feel I know you all !
That all sounds like a lot of fun

Love the colour on the people, makes a very interesting picture. My husband has become interested in your photos and comments too! Love getting new friends, even if they are far away.

@phil_howcroft Yes I was quite pleased with myself over that but not much skill to it as I just used one of picnic 's effects ! It looks clever though doesn't it !!!!

Yeah well I'd get destracted once the pub and hotpot supper came into shouting distance. I will show this my friend Juliette - she adores Cartmel from her Lancaster Uni days and is suffering in the heat as she's due to give birth this week - it will cheer her up!!

Wonderful photo of the treasure hunters and this gorgeous village...sounds like it was a very fun evening! I'm thinking Harry is over to the left in b/w. Great processing, by the way. I really like the use of the selective coloring,

@peggysirk Harry is right in the centre of the street shot underneath the yellow leaves with his hands in his pocket wearing a sort of green !! Thank you so much for all your recent comments on this & the following ones Peggy, much appreciated !!
