Every one in our village loves this bakery. At lunchtime the queues are coming out of the door sometimes with people buying hot pies, soup, hot beef barm cakes & everything you could wish for.
The bakery caters for all our local celebrations what ever the occasion & every one knows when someone is having a ''do as all the food is laid out with their name on in the glass counter at the back for all to see so if you aren't invited , hard luck !
@daviefrance Oh a sporran shop sounds lovely & I must check that out !!! You have reminded me that I have been very lapse about checking out new followers so will remedy that now !
Hahaa - I love that - I bet there's some gossip goes on about those boxes at the back!! Perhaps if you slip them a tip they'll use extra large boxes! The word 'patisserie' catches my eye.... And now I'm craving a barm cake - they'd think I was barmY if I asked for one down here!
Lol I love your commentary about knowing if you're invited or not by if you recognise the celebratory baking for an occasion. I looks like this shop will eternally be popular as long as there are hungry villagers and special occasions.
Very nice shot and who doesn't like a bakery. I love to see small local businesses do well. This place looks like you would always see someone you know whenever you enter it.
