A grey, damp ,cold day in Great Eccleston & the pub lights are a welcome sign. We have three public house in the village, the Farmers Arms, the Black Bull & this is the White Bull. There is also a fish & chip restaurant, an Italian Bistro & the Courtyard Cafe so we don't do too badly for food.
Those lights do look very welcoming and inviting. By the looks of the parking lot, a good number of people are attracted by them. Is this your favorite of the three?
Only ever go in here once a year when we take our garden judge in for sandwiches Barb. Out of the three I would think we use the fish & chip place most. The Italian has recently changed hands & we went just before Christmas & is fantastic so will def go there again soon !
Love the pov on this one and the great lighting, Pat. These pubs and little restaurants were always so attractive and welcoming to me. This shouts, "England!" :)
Nice shot Pat - good to see local pubs still going strong! We have 13 in our village (!) I'm amazed they are all still open...might have something to do with the fact the same landlords own a handful each so trade moves around! Caught the cold grey day feel well
Blimey you'd never need to leave the village Pat (if only they'd open a Booths!) @sparkle You're doing your bit for the community keeping all of them in business....
