We had three balloons in quick succession over our lane this morning. I really thought I had taken lots of good photos but was really disappointed with the results. I was slightly hampered in the fact it was breakfast time & had B&B in so really shouldn't have been in the garden at that time .
They all looked lovely & only the sound of the whoosh as they fired up to go higher. I never managed to get a good picture of them all together.
It must have been very cold up there -2 this morning.
I am really behind today with my commenting & any I don't get round to tonight I will try & catch up tomorrow. Thank you for looking at mine !!
There was a phase when hot air balloons went over Preston every Friday evening and I never stopped being excited when I saw them - it looks like a lovely way to travel!
What great multi taskers we women are!! Taking terribly clever shots of balloons, cooking breakfast and entertaining !! Love the photo.....yes, snap how funny, I now realise you are near Blackpool so you must get busy, we are down the road from Great Dixter, Sissinghurst round the corner, loads of gardens to visit so get a lot of garden people.
@fannyb Yes about 7 miles inland from Blackpool. I have been doing B&B for almost 20 years now so winding down a bit now we have retired from farming. I do keep pretty busy but mostly regulars that have been coming for a long time visiting parents/ children living in the area. I have two regulars in at the moment which is great, breakfast early & off in the morning all day & only a bed change once a week !! At one time I liked the change of different people now I like less work !! I really enjoy it though & lots of good friends made from all over the world as will you !
