These small rockery plants are just beginning to unfurl & flower in the stone trough by the back door.
A bright & sunny but cold day & I needed gloves for my poor hands that go numb at the slightest bit of cold !
The sky and light looks gorge with these pretty little flowers. We've had everything today - I set out in lovely sunshine and was being hailed on before I knew it. Then we've had sun, rain, cold wind and more hail. I seem to have taken all of my photos in the dull patches unfortunately so it's lovely to see your sunny shot!
Oh, this is simply marvelous, Pat! Exceptional dof and color! Hope your springtime starts to warm up a bit...it sounds unseasonably chilly in your part of the world.
@redrucksack@judithg@fannyb@peggysirk Thank you all for your lovely comments !!! I didn't have to venture far out of the back door to take this but did take quite a few around the garden but thought this was the best .
How beautiful they are, Pat ... such a cheerful color. Can't imagine the cool weather, but we are still getting days like that also. Love your pov here and the dof!
wonderful detail here Pat, and lovely colours too. It was very cold today I agree...I got warm lugging the mower about but my hands were raw at the end...even though I had gardening gloves on. Hope the April showers go soon (and take their hail with them!) and we get some May sunshine!
@lesleyallen I think it is Lesley, is Thrift the same as Candytuft, not sure ...a sort of rockery plant that comes up every year. Not very good at flower names !!
