It had just stopped raining when we walked through Stainton hamlet, these two horse riders were just riding through this ford.
We saw a Dipper bird ducking under the water in this stream but I couldn't get a good enough picture.

Dippers are fast!! Luckily for us horses are more sedate - lovely shot. I do a regular dog walk that involves a ford - now I know that what it's missing is horses!
