We have had a long day today judging gardens for the agriculture show.
This birds nest was in the first one we saw this morning. I forgot to ask Patsy what sort of birds they were but there were five babies.

Well they could be swallows Judith but I don't think swallows use straw for their nests just spit & clay mixture.
