we really are getting polar opposite weather in the North adn South Pat - it's absolutely glorious here today - very chilly, but not a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately I am working so am not going to get out in it, but just seeing the sun in the garden is enough to keep me happy! Though your 3 things sound pretty good to me!
@sparkle Well osn't that amazing, I thought it would be like this everywhere!! My daughters house must have been hit by lightening at 4am during a tremendous storm as all the bulbs blew & they have no internet.
@happypat oh no, that's not good - I had 2 lightbulbs blow on me yesterday - have no spares and only 2 more that work...an emergency shop for bulk lightbulbs required tomorrow!!
That's such an inviting room you'd almost want rubbish weather. As @sparkle said - a glorious morning but very cold, windy and grotty now. I always have to take Monty out - I need to get a Tui dog who takes himself!

nice cosy shot...would be hard to leave such a room in a sober state...i take it that the fire is a log burner..was thinking of putting one in my cellar and poking a pipe out of the window..price of gas these days anything makes sense from those robber barons...
